Legal Agreement and Binding Nature

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding contract between you and AI Lanka Institute ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This Agreement governs your access to and use of our educational services, website, and related offerings.

By registering for courses, accessing our website, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Professional Behavior

Maintain respectful communication with instructors and fellow students. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in account termination.

Confidentiality

Respect the privacy of other students and do not share personal information or course materials outside the authorized educational context.

3. Content Guidelines and Restrictions

When participating in discussions, submitting assignments, or contributing content to our platform, you must ensure that all content:

Educational Outcomes

We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, job placement, salary levels, or career advancement. Educational success depends on individual effort, prior experience, and market conditions beyond our control.

Technical Performance

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not warrant that our platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Content Accuracy

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure content accuracy, we do not warrant that all information provided is completely accurate, current, or complete.

2. Limitation of Liability

LIABILITY LIMITATION: To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Lanka Institute's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Excluded Damages

We shall not be liable for:

Included Remedies

3. Consequential Damages Exclusion

Under no circumstances shall AI Lanka Institute be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

4. Force Majeure Provisions

AI Lanka Institute shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, pandemics, strikes, or technical failures of third-party service providers.

Legal Information and Dispute Resolution

1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Jurisdiction Agreement

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

2. Dispute Resolution Procedures

Step 1: Direct Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good faith resolution through direct communication. Contact our support team within 30 days of the dispute arising to begin this process.

Step 2: Mediation

If direct resolution fails, parties agree to participate in mediation conducted by a qualified neutral mediator in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Mediation costs shall be shared equally between the parties.

Step 3: Binding Arbitration

If mediation is unsuccessful, any remaining disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted under the Arbitration Act of Sri Lanka. The arbitration shall be conducted in English in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

3. Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely achieves the intended purpose.

4. Terms Modification Policy

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website unless otherwise specified.
